A Guide to the Stick Insects of Australia

Reconstructed Books

When researching my stick insect book, I often need source material which is in excess of 100 years old. These books are becoming artifacts in their own right and librarians are justifiably cautious about allowing them to be photocopied (the light and heat can damage them, as can flattenting them on the glass) and so these works are becoming increasingly more difficult to consult. Whenever I manage to extract the content of one of these books, I reconstruct it as a PDF file. Some of them are available here:
